Tyler Winkelman, M.D., is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He is interested in social policy and social determinants of health (particularly education, employment, and housing), state and national healthcare access policy, and undergraduate and graduate medical education related to policy and systems education. He is interested in quantifying the effect of both social investment and health insurance expansion on health outcomes, and developing health policy curricula for medical education.
